10/05/2010 | Special exhibitions regarding 300 years of European Porcelain opened

Written by Administrator

Last weekend we celebrated the opening of unique special exhibitions in Dresden, Meissen and Berlin regrading 300 years of European porcelain.

In 1710 Europe's first porcelain manufatory was founded in Meissen, after Böttger had discoverd the secret of the "White gold" in Dresden. Europe's first porcelain is recognizable by its world-famous crossed swords, and is produced and painted by hand to this day.
