Baltic Sea Cycle Path

Cycling holidays along the Baltic Sea Cycle Path

A salty sea breeze, the sound of the sea, cliffs, beaches ...

The coast of the Baltic Sea belongs to the most beautiful regions in Germany and with good reason the Baltic Sea Cycle Path is known as one of most popular regions for cycling in northern Germany. The islands and the lagoon areas around the old-established Hanseatic City of Stralsund are particularly beautiful and well suited for eventful cycle tours. Since the historic centre of Stralsund was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city has experienced a Renaissance and is turning into a real gem of the Baltic Sea.

On your cycle tours along the Baltic Sea Cycle Route you can enjoy the wonderful variety of this region. You take the ship to the beautiful, natural island Hiddensee, you cross the picturesque Strelsasund by ferry, you cycle along the Barther and the Jasmunder Bodden and you visit the beautiful beaches in the bay Prorer Wiek. Look forward to your stay in the dreamy fishing villages such as Schaprode and Altefähr and in the carefully restored towns like Barth, Bergen - the capital of Ruegen isaland - and the seaside resort Binz.
