By bike from Warnemünde/Rostock to Rügen

Discover the beauty of Germany's Baltic Sea coast

This fascinating cycling tour takes you from the mouth of the Warnow River along the scenic Baltic Sea coast all the way to Stralsund. From here you will cross to the car-free island of Hiddensee before continuing your journey to Rügen, the largest island in Germany.

The island is home to a breathtaking chalk coast which provides a unique habitat for a variety of rare plants and wildlife. As the most important natural resource of the region, the white chalk is a defining feature of the landscape. Beyond the natural beauty, you can discover numerous cultural highlights such as the Granitz Hunting Lodge and the historic treasures of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund.

While some of the cycle paths are unpaved, this only adds to the authentic charm of the experience. We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable active holiday on the Baltic Sea coast.
