Day 1: Individual arrival in Bad Schandau
After arrival you get a welcome surprise which attune to the upcoming bike tours. In the evening you can already make a short walk to explore the picturesque resort.

Day 2: Bad Schandau – Pirna (approx. 23 km)
Between Bad Schandau and Pirna you will see a stunning setting consisting of romantic rock formations and a natural floodplain landscape. Königstein fortress or the Basteibrücke above Rathen are  recommended detours. Explore Pirna with its beautiful old town.

Day 3: Pirna – Dresden (approx. 22 km)
From Pirna the Elbe Cycle Route takes you to Pillnitz. It is worth taking a detour to the castle and park of Pillnitz, the former summer residence of the royal Wettin family of Saxony. A few kilometers away, you will pass the Blue Wonder, Dresden's most famous bridge and enjoy the best view of your cycle on the three castles at the river Elbe in Dresden. The "Florence on the Elbe" shines with the world-famous sights Frauenkirche, Zwinger, Semperoper and the Brühl'sche Terrasse and forms a picturesque silhouette.

Day 4: Dresden – Meissen (approx. 30 km)
You leave Dresden and get to Radebeul, the hometown of Karl May. From here, take a detour to Moritzburg Castle. Even from the distance you can see the symbol of Meissen, with its castle and cathedral Albrechtsburg. A visit to the world famous porcelain factory should not be missed. For the evening, we recommend a wine tasting because Meissen is the center of the northeastern German wine region.

Day 5: Meissen – Riesa or Strehla (approx. 28 km/36 km)
On this stage of your bike tour you pass picturesque wine villages. Before you reach rural Strehla, you get to the City of Sports Riesa. Here the popular noodle producer is at home and in the pasta museum you will learn about the rich pasta shape. Should you be on a weekday in Riesa, even a glance at the current production is possible.

Day 6: Riesa or Strehla – Torgau (approx. 48 km/40 km)
Today you will cycle through Belgern, the place with the Saxony's only Roland, to Torgau. It is worth a visit by Hartenfels Castle and the Castle Church, which is considered to be the first Protestant church in Germany and was ordained by Martin Luther.

Day 7: Torgau – Pretzsch (approx. 37 km)
Todays stage along the Elbe Cycle Route takes you to the Renaissance city of Torgau in Saxony. Through the Dübener Heide and Dommitzsch you continue to Pretzsch.

Day 8: Pretzsch – Lutherstadt Wittenberg (approx. 35 km)
Passing Elster, the Elbe Cycle Route leads you through the extensive floodplains to Wittenberg. Walk the footsteps of the Reformer and visit the haunts of other personalities of Wittenberg such as Philipp Melanchthon and Lucas Cranach.

Day 9: Lutherstadt Wittenberg – Dessau (approx. 37 km)
Through lovely floodplain of the Elbe you will cycle along the world famous Wörlitzer Park and Gartenreich. Wander through the fascinating plant, which offers with its islands, channels, and temples different attractions. Dessau architecture lovers get their money's worth because Walter Gropius accomplished the Bauhaus style.

Day 10: Dessau – Barby (approx. 42 km)
You cycle through the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve, where you might see an Elbe beaver. In the untouched nature numerous rare bird species live. Arrived in Barby, the Elbe-Saale-Angle, it's worth it to walk through the historic city center.

Day 11: Barby – Magdeburg (approx. 40 km)
Good paths takes you through the nature reserve Kreuzhorst to Magdeburg, the aim of your bike tour. Its landmarks include the Cathedral, the Monastery of Our Lady and the Magdeburg Rider.

Day 12: Individual departure or transfer service to Bad Schandau
