Further information about our cycling holidays along the Weser Cycle Path

Welcome to the flat Weser valley!

The Weser Cycle Path does not count as one of the most popular cycling regions in Germany for no reason: Picturesque river landscape, natural diversity of the Weser uplands, majestic castles and lovely truss towns hem the 490 kilometres long cycle path and guarantee you an unforgettable and delightful cycling experience. Even though the road winds through many ridges in the Weser uplands at the beginning, it hardly has any ascents, making it the ideal route for a relaxed bike tour.

Interesting facts about the Weser Cycle Route

  • Flat ways guarantee you an unforgettable and delightful cycling experience. On one part of the track along the Weser Cycle Path, you will be crossing over the diverse landscapes of the Weser uplands, the region of Middle Weser and the Northern German lowland. The old truss houses, castles and Weser renaissance, historical towns and broad meadows make this varied cycle path interesting for everyone.
  • The Weser Cycle Path is very well signposted and constantly presents dreamy views over the Weser valley. Nevertheless, bikers travelling on the Weser Cycle Path can count with little sloping – The cycle path is therefore great for longer bike tours, laid-back bike tours or a cycling holiday with the whole family.

Sights and regional particularities along the Weser Cycle Path

Unsurprisingly, the Weser Cycle path is one of the most beautiful cycling regions in Germany for many cyclists because of its picturesque river landscape, natural diversity and the various majestic castles along the cycle route. Look forward to the visit to the Corvey Monastery or let the tour through the Bevern Castle be one of the highlights to your bike tour on the Weser Cycle Path.

A city tour of Nienburg provides a little variety to your programme. Along the "Bärenfährte" you can discover many different city sights. Thanks to its old farms and many windmills, horse lovers will particularly enjoy Verden and photography enthusiasts will have the chance to turn the breathtaking passing scenery of sprawling landscapes into inspiring memorial photos.
