Itinerary

  • Day 1: Individual arrival in Hann. Münden
Get here early to have a chance to see the numerous half-timbered houses in the city, as well as the gorgeous city hall.
    Overnight stay in Hann. Münden
  • Day 2: Hann. Münden – Beverungen (approx. 55 km)
After breakfast you start your first stage, which leads to the former Benedictine monastery at Bursfelde, and Oberweser with its open-air milling museum.
    Overnight stay in Beverungen
  • Day 3: Beverungen – Bodenwerder (approx. 59 km)
Today your ride takes you along the border of Solling. Youll pass the Fürstenberg castle, where porcelain is made, before you reach the cloister at Corvey. After that, continue on to the next highlight of the tour: the palace at Bevern, one of the most impressive buildings of the renaissance in Weser.
    Overnight stay in Bodenwerder
  • Day 4: Bodenwerder – Rinteln (approx. 56 km)
After leaving Bodenwerder, youll be greeted by the picturesque Hämelschenburg, before being captivated by the Pied Piper of Hamelns song in–whereelse?–Hameln.
    Overnight stay in Rinteln
  • Day 5: Rinteln – Minden (approx. 41 km)
Today youll see Bad Oeynhausen, famous for its "Jordansprudel," the largest carbonated hot spring in the world. But things will get a bit tight (literally!) in the valley at Porta Westfalica, the gateway to Westphalia, before you reach Minden.
    Overnight stay in Minden
  • Day 6: Minden – Nienburg (approx. 63 km)
Before starting your 5th stage you should visit one of the numerous interesting museums of Minden. Along the Weser Cycle Path the landscape changes as you enter the Northern German lowlands and soon you will reach the city Nienburg, where you can explore the old city and its historical sights in a unique way. Just try to follow the bear tracks …
    Overnight stay in Nienburg
  • Day 7: Nienburg – Verden (approx. 55 km)
On this leg, your ride takes you through little villages filled with red brick houses before you arrive in Verden, famous for its horses. Photo opportunities abound among the broad meadows, windmills, and occasional farmhouses.
    Overnight stay in Verden
  • Day 8: Verden – Bremen (approx. 56 km)
Past the stork nursing station in the outskirts of Verden your today’s and last biking tour leads to Bremen. Perhaps you heard the famous town musicians on your ride in, or maybe it was your imagination. Either way, dont forget to check out the statue of them in front of the city hall.
    Overnight stay in Bremen
  • Day 9: Individual departure or transfer service to Hann. Münden
Today your journey along the river Weser ends. Of course you can always extend your bicycle tour with extra nights in Bremen, Hann. Münden or Minden. We are very pleased to arrange additional accommodation for you.
