City tour Dresden
Journey

What to expect
Dresden, the 800-year-old capital of Saxony, is one amongst of Europe’s leading cultural capitals. Its treasures include an abundance of architectural monuments, top-class museums and world-renowned cultural institutions, and promise those who discover them a real treat and wealth of surprises.
A city tour to Dresden offers you the chance to explore its historic centre, featuring the Zwinger Palace, Theatre Square, Royal Palace and the Church of Our Lady. Take the opportunity to enjoy an outstanding concert or a boat trip with the world’s oldest fleet of paddle steamers – and you too will fall in love with the “Florence on the Elbe” on this city tour to Dresden.
For all of you who already know Dresden and wish for one or another secret tip – we have a lot of ideas in mind to extend the classical Dresden programme. What do you think about a visit to the Dresden city museum or to the Panometer Dresden? Dresden's surroundings are worth a visit too: Go on a ride with the narrow-gauge steam train "Lößnitzdackel" to Moritzburg. Furthermore, you should not miss a day trip to the "unexplored" parts of Saxon Switzerland...

Basic package for your group tour "city tour to Dresden":
4 days/3 nights
Day 1: Individual arrival
On the day of arrival, your group will go on a guided tour to get to know the city centre of Dresden. There are many ways to explore Dresden: What about a sportive tour by bike, a wandering tour on Erich Kästner’s tracks or a discovery tour through various eras of architecture?
Day 2: Guided tour of Dresden
