What to expect

Windy weather, sea breezes and the North German brick architecture: All these elements are characterizing the confederation of hanseatic cities in Germany which was formed by merchants for ensuring their international trade activities. Particularly impressive are the massive buildings and also the medieval flair in some districts of those cities.

Your round trip starts in Lübeck where the history of the Hanseatic League previously began. You continue your journey to the UNESCO world heritage site of Wismar and enjoy the specific atmosphere of the Baltic Sea. Further-more, do not miss a steam ride by the narrow-gauge “Molli” which is located in Bad Doberan. You also stay in Hamburg, lovingly called “pearl of the north”, and in Bremen nearby Wadden area. Get to know the unique charm of the hanseatic cities with us!

My tip: On your walking tour in Bremen you should look for the ‘Town Musicians of Bremen’ known from Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale. Besides the historical old town and the hanseatic character, it is a popular symbol of Bremen.
