First, the AugustusTours team gathered in the appropriately decorated "party room". A full table of treats and sparkling wine was already waiting for us there to get us in the mood for the birthday party.
Then the celebrations began: Anke Herrmann, who founded AugustusTours on 15 February 1997, gave us a very special review of the past few years, namely with the help of artificial intelligence. In the course of digitalisation, our managing director has recently been working more intensively on this topic and we were amazed at what is now possible.
As a team, we also reminisced over sandwiches and cake. Together, we looked back on 27 years of AugustusTours, which had many wonderful but also funny moments in store for us. We then toasted with a traditional glass of sparkling wine.
At the end, each of us received a bright green AugustusTours backpack as a gift, which will accompany us from now on as a faithful companion on our own travels. Let's see which corners and countries of the world our backpacks will travel to...
But that's not all: our birthday celebrations continue in April, when we will be initiated into the secrets of organ building during a guided tour. We are already very excited about this and are looking forward to many more wonderful hours together as a team. :)
