AugustusTours invites clients to discover magnificent Dresden and Leipzig
On the 24th November 2019 we welcomed some of our international clients in Dresden to introduce the Highlights of our city and Leipzig. We put together a diverse itinerary in our saxon main destinations for the 4-day-lasting Fam Trip. Besides numerous culinary tastings, we offered classics like a guided tour to the Semperoper, a visit of the Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen as well as a concert performance of Residenzkonzerte at the Zwinger Palace.
Unfortunately a tour at Royal Palace had to be skipped due to the robbery of the Historic Green Vault the night before. An alternative was found quickly with a visit of the Frauenkirche and the ascent to the dome. We also wanted to present our guests from Great Britain, Denmark, Belgium and the USA a different side of Dresden: We went to the Art Courtyard Passage (Kunsthofpassage) at Dresden’s Newtown and got a ride with the suspension railway at the district of Loschwitz to have a great view over the Elbe valley.
We continued our trip to Leipzig on the 26th. After a guided walking tour and a visit of the Bach Museum, we went to the festive opening of the Christmas Market. So our guests could enjoy this unique atmosphere of German Christmas with a cup of hot mulled wine – a wonderful prelude of the Advent season!
It was a pleasure to meet our clients face to face and discover our cities!
