FamTrip to Dresden

On the occasion of the 42nd Dresden Music Festival (DMF), a FamTrip to Dresden was organized in cooperation with the Dresden Marketing Corporation and AugustusTours – this year it was all about music. Read on for more information about the programme..

On the occasion of the 42nd Dresden Music Festival (DMF) an invitation for a FamTrip to Dresden was sent out in cooperation with the Dresdner Marketing Corporation and AugustusTours. Numerous tour operator colleagues from Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan followed the call to experience the musical side of Dresden during a 3-night-stay. A varied and exciting programme awaited our guests: They enjoyed guided tours through the Semper Opera House and the Residence Palace. Of course, a tour of the Zwinger was also included in the programme. The tour of the old town was followed by a day trip to nearby Pillnitz by boat where we visited the Richard-Wagner sites in Graupa and the Carl-Maria-von-Weber-Museum.

One or two private concerts added the certain something to our trip. In the evening, the DMF was finally able to captivate the guests with its fascinating events at various venues throughout the city. We said goodbye tour our guests with the gift of many new impressions and travel ideas and are now looking forward to the first inquiries to Dresden.
