AugustusTours on further training in Munich

In order to always stay up to date and to well-advise our customers, we regularly attend trainings. Just recently, Manuela Leveghi and Kerstin Pelz, both staff members of the department of city and cultural tours for groups, took the opportunity to visit Munich. In the following, we would like to invite you to browse through their impressions collected in the capitol of Bavaria.

On further training in Munich

Munich is always worth a visit! The main purpose of our trip to Munich was spotting the most suitable hotels for our groups. Viewing various hotels, we were able to find quite a few modern and centrally located accommodations where our guests will definitely feel comfortable in. Furthermore, we met with a tour guide on the spot. Above that, we did not miss out on exploring the city – we strolled around the downtown district and visited the Residence as well as some restaurants,” Manuela Leveghi and Kerstin Pelz report.

Place of the Gardeners in Munich

Munich, being the Bavarian capitol at the foot of the Alps, excites numerous tourists and excursion lovers day by day. What is great is that most of the sights are located directly by the Marienplatz and thus are to be found in the heart of the city. The New Town Hall, the St. Peter’s Church, the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady with both of its onion towers and the Munich Residence are only a few of the buildings which are worth visiting and should not be missed out on during a trip to the Bavarian metropolis.

Lenbach House

Munich’s cuisine is often and primarily associated with a hearty veal sausage breakfast, cosy strolling across the Viktualienmarkt (daily food market and square) or ending the day in either one of the various brewery houses or, when having nice weather, in the beer gardens. As you can see, a city trip to Munich is a culinary treat.

Theatinerplatz in Munich

From the culinary side, we were surprised by the restaurants Ella in the Lenbachhaus and the “Südtiroler Stuben”. In the latter, a picture with Alfons Schuhbeck was a must-have we did not want to miss out on…,” Manuela Leveghi and Kerstin Pelz enthuse about.
