Setting off in the middle of the night and arriving relaxed at your destination the next morning – that's exactly what the young European rail company European Sleeper makes possible, offering new night train connections across Europe. By combining eco-friendly mobility with a smart travel experience, this start-up taps into the current trend: climate-friendly holidays with charm and comfort. The idea behind the European night train start-up European Sleeper is to travel conveniently, comfortably, and stress-free – directly and without changing trains. The goal: to establish train travel as a genuine alternative to flying and to put the focus on the journey itself. After all, those who travel by night train not only save CO₂, but also a night's accommodation.

Current Route: From Brussels to Prague with Stopovers

Since spring 2024, the European Sleeper has been connecting attractive cities and regions across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Currently, trains run three times a week on the route Brussels – Amsterdam – Berlin – Dresden – Bad Schandau – Prague, linking some of Central Europe's most beautiful cultural and natural regions: from the Elbe Valley to the Dutch metropolis Amsterdam, from Brussels across central Germany to Prague, or from Antwerp towards Berlin. On board, travelers can choose from various comfort classes – from comfortable seating coaches to sleeper and couchette cars offering privacy, as well as sanitary facilities, snacks, and breakfast. A special highlight: bicycles can easily be taken along. Whether you're planning a cycling trip along the Elbe, a walking tour through the Saxon Switzerland, or a relaxed cycling vacation with city sightseeing from Prague to Dresden, the night train provides the perfect starting point for your next cycling or hiking adventure.

Travelling by night train

Whether along picturesque river valleys, through impressive rocky landscapes or between historic towns – the starting points of the European Sleeper offer ideal conditions for unforgettable cycling and walking tours. Let yourself be inspired and discover selected tours that can be perfectly combined with an arrival or departure by night train.
