Of course, unforeseen events can occur from time to time. These include, for example, guests spontaneously travelling with us if they fall ill during the trip or if their bike breaks down. Fortunately, this really only happens very rarely for us. However, if the worst comes to the worst, we always find a good way to help our guests.
Planned transfers, such as our shared transfer to Prague, give me great pleasure because the guests chat about their experiences and want to learn a lot about our region.
My tasks also include preparing the bike bags with which our guests receive, among other things, bike locks, a repair kit and, on request, a speedometer. I also keep an eye on our transporter and keep it clean. Our bike mechanic Werner Schloth is responsible for the maintenance of the hire bikes. I work very closely with him and with the logistics planner in the office.
