Reasons for your group tour
to Saxony-Anhalt

Advantages of Saxony-Anhalt for your groups – in general

  • In the heart of Germany: Its central location makes Saxony-Anhalt an ideal destination as it can be reached fast and comfortably by every major German city or airport.

  • Short distances: Cities like Magdeburg, Halle and Lutherstadt Wittenberg are easily accessible within an hour of each other, allowing you to make the most out of your stay in Germany.

  • History-charged places: At one time, precious mineral ores, mined in the mountain region Harz, resulted in the regions wealth and fame. Several of the medieval cities with half-timbered houses possess that royal splendor even to this day. More history will come to life during a trip along the Romanesque Road (Straße der Romanik) or visits at fortresses, castles and world heritage sites.

  • Harz Mountains and their narrow-gauge railways: As impressive as the landscape are the regions railways and their history, e.g. Harzquerbahn, Selketalbahn or Brockenbahn. These railways were constructed at the end of the 19th century. Not only did they facilitate the distribution of the regions mineral and timber resources throughout an economically growing Germany, but they also stimulated the rising tourism.
