Group tour suggestion: Northern Germany by Steam
Journey

What to expect
On our group tour “Northern Germany by Steam” you get to enjoy the maritime atmosphere combined with exciting steam train rides! A guided tour of Rostock on a historic tram is a good prelude to your stay in Northern Germany. During a visit to the public harbour you get to know the special flair of this hanseatic city.
Of course we recommend a steam train ride on “Molli”. The railway takes you from Bad Doberan to Kühlungsborn and return. Don’t forget your camera to capture the extraordinary view during the ride!
Furthermore, you will visit the National Park “Königsstuhl” on Rügen Island. Worth a visit is the ancient beech forest almost untouched by humans’ hands which is an UNESCO World Heritage since 2011. On Rügen Island, another highlight is waiting for you: a public steam train ride on narrow-gauge “Rasender Roland”. On this route you pass the typical Baltic resorts with their spa-style architecture.
This group tour is characterised by its versatility and the historic narrow-gauge railways – explore Northern Germany on steam with us!
