Day 1: Individual arrival to Merano
Merano welcomes you with its delightful Mediterranean charm. Take time to explore this elegant cultural town in the heart of South Tyrol. Stroll beneath its charming arcades or follow in the footsteps of Empress Sisi along the scenic Passer promenade.
Overnight stay in Merano -
Day 2: Merano – Nalles (approx. 20 km, walking time: approx. 5–6 hours, + 560 m, - 550 m)
Today’s walk follows the Waalweg paths through apple plantations, leading you to an impressive waterfall. You then continue through the hills of the chestnut village of Tisens, climbing up to the historic St. Christoph’s Church. The route carries on through beautiful woodland, where you are rewarded with sweeping views across the Adige Valley far below. Finally, you descend to Nals, an idyllic village nestled among apple orchards and vineyards, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Nalles – Caldaro/Lake Caldaro (approx. 18 km, walking time: approx. 5–5.5 hours, + 710 m, - 600 m)
Today’s walk follows the fascinating castle trail, leading you along varied paths from one fortress to the next where you can admire diverse historical architecture. In the afternoon, you will explore the famous holes in the ice, a unique natural phenomenon where icicles can be found even in midsummer. After passing St. George’s Tower and strolling through vineyards, you will soon reach Lake Caldaro.

Day 4: Caldaro/Lake Caldaro – Coredo (approx. 17 km, walking time: approx. 4.5–5 hours, + 200 m, - 700 m)
After breakfast, you take the funicular up to the Mendelpass. Enjoy the magnificent views before setting off on a gentle walk across the high plateau towards the Non Valley, the linguistic and provincial border. En route, you will pass through idyllic villages and stunning canyons on your way to the pilgrimage site of Saint Romedio. After passing two small, shimmering lakes, you will soon arrive in Coredo. Here, you can experience "la dolce vita" in the heart of Trentino.

Day 5: Coredo – Molveno (approx. 15 km, walking time: approx. 4.5–5.5 hours, + 700 m, - 400 m)
A short transfer takes you through the impressive landscape of the Val di Non. Your walk then leads through peaceful forests to wonderful viewpoints and the small church of San Tommaso. The route continues into the Priori Nature Park and across the wetlands of a karst lake, before arriving in Andalo on your way to Molveno. Set at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and beside its shimmering turquoise Alpine lake, Molveno provides a truly memorable setting for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Circular walk Brenta-Dolomites (approx. 15 km, walking time: approx. 3–5 hours depending on chosen route, + 390 m, - 900 m)
Begin your day with a scenic cable car ride up into the magnificent alpine world of the Brenta mountain range. From the Pradel mountain area, set off on one of the regions most beautiful hiking routes. Along the way, pause at a traditional rifugio (mountain hut) to enjoy a typical Italian snack while taking in the spectacular views of the surrounding summits. Then descend gently to the crystal-clear, emerald-green waters of Lago Nembia.

Day 7: Molveno – Riva del Garda (approx. 10 km, walking time: approx. 3–4 hours, + 400 m, - 800 m)
On the last day of your hiking trip, you will set out through the unspoilt meadows of the valley of Lomason, before ascending to Rifugio Monte San Pietro. There, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Lake Garda. From there, the path winds down through archways and past stone walls as you approach Tenno Castle. On the last few kilometres of your journey, you continue on foot through olive groves and Mediterranean cypress vegetation, gradually making your way down to the shores of Lake Garda.

Day 8: Individual departure or extension
After an unforgettable walking tour, your journey comes to an end at Lake Garda. Following breakfast, you will depart for your onward journey. If you wish to stay a little longer, you can easily extend your holiday with additional nights.

You can travel from Munich via the Brenner Pass. Please note that a toll sticker (Vignette) is required for this route, and most motorways are subject to additional tolls. On www.parkopedia.de you will find a good overview of public parking lots and parking garages.
