Baden-Württemberg - Information about our new destination

Fascinating landscapes … Swabia … Baden-Württemberg has way more to offer than that. The cultural range of this federal state is diverse and colourful. Join us to experience the wonderful southwest of Germany!

We would like to introduce our new destination to you the state of Baden Württemberg:

In the course of our city travels, we would like to introduce you to one of the most popular cities in Baden-Württemberg: Heidelberg at the river Neckar. Visit the romantic downtown of Heidelberg with its interesting stories, explore the castle of Heidelberg or get to know the city and the Neckar Valley while taking a boat tour. Here you can find more information about our city tour to Heidelberg.
Furthermore, we offer city trips to the so-called gate of the Black Forest – the city of Karlsruhe. The fan-like architecture of Karlsruhe is unique. More than 30 streets and avenues radially lead to the Residence Castle, which is the city’s heart. Combine your stay in Karlsruhe with excellent tastings of Baden wines, which have ripened underneath the spoiling sun.
Baden-Württemberg’s capitol Stuttgart is closely connected to the automobile industry as car brands like e.g. Porsche and Mercedes Benz have their headquarters here. You can become more familiar with these car brands while visiting one of the respective museums.

Discover Baden-Württemberg's tradition and history

Moreover, Baden-Württemberg offers a unique cultural wealth: castles, palaces and monasteries that bear witness to Baden-Württemberg’s long history and tradition. During a cultural tour, let us take you to romantic castles as e.g. the castle of Hohenzollern and marvel at prestige residences in Schwetzingen and Ludwigsburg. Furthermore, many guests from near or far are impressed by the great variety of monasteries and churches this state has to offer. One of the most popular monasteries is Maulbronn which plays big roles in many works by the famous German writer Hermann Hesse. Visit Baden-Württemberg during a group tour along the Romantic Road and discover the charming Taubertal Valley on a cultural tour.

Musical highlights in Baden-Württemberg

In the segment of music tours you are more than welcome to enjoy with us small and large but always popular music festivals. The Schwetzingen Music Festival in spring and the Heidelberg Spring Music Festival definitely need to be mentioned here. Of interest is the small but fine Opera Festival “Rossini in Wildbad” which takes place every July in the northern part of the Black Forest. And of course, an excursion to Baden-Württemberg’s capitol Stuttgart should not be left out. The Stuttgart State Opera awaits you there.

Last but not least, we would like to draw your attention to the region of the southwest which of course will not be forgotten in our offerings from this year onward: Cuckoo clocks, Bollen Hats and cherry cakes are the most popular identifying features of the Black Forest. In the course of our special interest tours or cultural tours, you can experience this unique natural region that has even brought international prominence for Baden-Württemberg. Here you can find more information about our cultural tour to the Black Forest.

Our cultural tour to the Black Forest brings you to the open-air museum “Vogtsbauernhof” or to the waterfalls of Triberg. Moreover, you can enjoy a ride with the “Sauschwänzlebahn” in the High Black Forest. Furthermore, a stay in the Black Forest can be perfectly combined with day excursions to the metropolises of Alsace – Strasbourg and Colmar.
