Day 1: Individual arrival in Dresden
Dresden awaits you right at the beginning of your palace journey with magnificent baroque buildings. During an evening city tour, you will discover Florence on the Elbe in a whole new light - enchanting, romantic, unique - and take a look at Dresdens Royal Palace.

Day 2: Castles of Saxon Switzerland
Today a grandiose garden of baroque art awaits you: the baroque garden Großsedlitz. More than 400 potted plants, impressive stairs, glittering water features, wide lines of sight, carefully trimmed hedges and 64 sandstone sculptures as well as decorative vases present a spacious garden that invites you to walk, enjoy and experience. Impressed by the splendor of the garden, drive to Weesenstein in the afternoon and visit the castle of the same name, which is enthroned on a rocky outcrop above the Müglitztal. The romantic castle combines different architectural styles and rich testimonies of its 800-year history in an outstanding way. A special highlight of the day is the trip on a historic paddle steamer on the Elbe. Be inspired by the magical landscape!

Day 3: Pillnitz and East Saxon castles and palaces
Another highlight of your castle trip to Saxony is certainly a visit to Pillnitz Castle. The castle and garden were used by August the Strong as a summer residence and are still considered an Eldorado for those seeking relaxation. The complex is an extraordinary ensemble of architecture and garden art. Stylishly located directly on the Elbe, it offers visitors a wide variety of sightseeing opportunities in the palm house, castle museum and in the extensive park. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Countess Cosel, the most famous mistress of Augustus the Strong, at Stolpen Castle, or to take a trip to Rammenau. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, the baroque Rammenau Castle is still one of the most beautiful, completely preserved country baroque complexes. Changing special exhibitions and evening events are always good reasons to visit.

Day 4: Moritzburg Castle and individual departure
Less than half an hour from Dresden, Moritzburg Castle is practically on your way home and is the crowning glory of your castle tour. The unique Moritzburg cultural landscape with its numerous sky ponds invites you to visit the exhibitions and go for a walk. The Moritzburg hunting lodge and the pheasant castle, which can be easily reached on foot, form the center of this popular local recreation area. After eventful and unforgettable days in the enchanting splendor of the palaces, parks and castles in Saxony, you and your group will start your journey home.
