AugustusTours celebrates summer party

Preparations began in the afternoon: decorating the tables, preparing the barbecue, chilling drinks and shutting down the computer. We were particularly grateful for the support of the Interessengemeinschaft Bw Dresden Altstadt e.V., whose members not only provided us with the location, but also worked extremely hard to help us. In addition to specialties from the grill, we put together a colourful buffet with numerous salads, fresh bread and various spreads – homemade, of course.

We welcomed our guests punctually at 6.30 pm in glorious summer weather. Anke Herrmann greeted the group with words of gratitude, confidence and joy. Jens Steiner presented the association that organises the Dresden Steam Engine Festival every year. We toasted the evening together. Later in the evening, dessert was served: homemade brownies and banana bread rounded off the convivial evening.

Last but not least, our summer party is also a great opportunity to say thank you to all our partners that contribute as link to our guests essentially to the success of our work as a tour operator. Therefore, at this point to all guides, hotels, restaurants, carriers and museums, who always care about our guests so excellent, a big thank you. An equally big thank you goes to all those who work in the "background" to ensure that we can do what we love every day: Organising the best time of the year for our guests. :)
