In order to always stay up to date and to well-advise our customers, we regularly attend trainings. Just recently, our team members Fanny Grabowski and Ulrike Ehlemann went on a little road trip in preparation of the Oberammergau Passion Play, scheduled for the 42nd time in 2020. Only a few days earlier the main roles were announced on a blackboard in front of the theatre, signaling another big step in the planning stage towards this world-famous event.

Part of the travel plans were visits to several hotels in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberammergau und the surrounding area, which are known to cooperate with the event organizers. When in the area it is also recommended to include a stop at the museums in Murnau and Kochel, Linderhof Castle, the Benedictine Abbey in Ettal or the Pilgrimage Church of Wies. It was certainly an enjoyable and interesting part of the journey.
"Last but not least was a private guided visit at the Passion Play Theatre in Oberammergau itself. The pride in this centuries-long tradition is not only displayed in the permanent exhibition including costumes from the previous play, but also with the enthusiasm that the guides put into their tour. With much blood, sweat and tears they manage to paint a clear picture of this impressive event and pull you right along in their own curiosity for details about the next play. Now it is us that are intrigued and looking forward to the opening of the Passion Play in May 2020", Fanny Grabowski und Ulrike Ehlemann reported.
