• Day 1: Individual arrival in Dresden
  You arrive in the Florence of the Elbe, Dresden, which is beautifully located along the Elbe valley. Whether the famous Zwinger, the Semper Opera or the Court Church – a tour of the former royal residence by bicycle will take you past many sites.

• Day 2: Dresden – Torgau (approx. 105 km)
  In the morning you leave the Saxon capital Dresden and ride your bike to the porcelain city Meissen. Passing picturesque wine villages, the rest of the route takes you towards Torgau, where you can visit the magnificent Renaissance castle Hartenfels.

• Day 3: Torgau – Dessau (approx. 110 km)
  From Torgau, you will go via Elster and Pretzsch to the Luther city of Wittenberg. Here you will encounter the traces of the reformer. Another highlight of todays stage is the Wörlitz Park and Garden Realm, which invites you to linger with its islands, canals, temples and sculptures. Todays destination is Dessau. The Bauhaus building and the master houses of Kandinsky, Klee or Feininger, which can be visited in Dessau, are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

• Day 4: Dessau – Magdeburg (approx. 82 km)
  Your cycling vacation will continue through the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve, where, with a bit of luck, an Elbe beaver will show up. The untouched nature is home to numerous, rare bird species. The tour continues on good paths through the Kreuzhorst nature reserve to Magdeburg, todays destination. Among the sights worth seeing here are the cathedral, the monastery of Our Lady and the Magdeburg Rider.

• Day 5: Magdeburg – Havelberg (approx. 129 km)
  After you have passed the impressive waterway cross, which connects the Elbe, Elbe-Havel Canal and Mittelland Canal, you will soon reach Burg (near Magdeburg), the city of towers. Your bike tour then continues along the Elbe dike to Tangermünde. The historic half-timbered and brick buildings of the town form an interesting contrast. Continue cycling through dreamy villages via Arneburg to Havelberg. Enjoy the extensive Elbe meadows. At the end of the day, dont miss a visit to Havelberg Cathedral, built in Renaissance and Baroque style.

• Day 6: Havelberg – Hitzacker (approx. 113 km)
  Todays bike route takes you through the stork village of Rühstädt and on to Wittenberge, known as the city of towers. Along the Elbe, the route continues through the quiet nature of the Prignitz and past small Wisch villages. In Hitzacker, the attractive old town with its many half-timbered houses invites you to stroll and linger. Since 1983, vines have once again been growing on Germanys northernmost vineyard.

• Day 7: Hitzacker – Hamburg (approx. 110 km)
  On the last stage of this impressive cycling vacation, you will travel through the Elbtalaue Wendland to the maritime town of Lauenburg with many half-timbered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. Further on via Geesthacht you reach Hamburg. Here ends your sporty cycling vacation and you have the opportunity to explore the Hanseatic metropolis with its harbor, the landing stages and the Reeperbahn.
